Illionois Bill Set to Vote on Criminalizing Action of People Who Perform Ultrasound on Pregnant Women Without Doctor's Order

The pro-abortion forces in the Illinois House are presenting a so-called effort to ensure the health of unborn children. However, the bill is set criminalize anybody who performs an ultrasound without a doctor's order. This is purely an effort prevent women from making a fully informed choice:

SPRINGFIELD Pro-abortion forces won a victory in the Illinois House Wednesday as State Rep. Rosemary Mulligan (R-Park Ridge successfully passed HB 2492 which would make it a criminal offense for an ultrasound to be administered without a doctor's order...

Mulligan, who is a strong abortion advocate, said that an ultrasound should not be done for political reasons to make anyone change their minds about any particular purpose (emphasis added).

It's obvious that Mulligan is upset that these new ultrasounds will show the unborn as, well, of course, real live human beings and not a "blob of tissue." This way women may not want to go through an abortion seeing that an actual human being is but a few inches inside of them. God forbid should they change the mind not to have an abortion! Gasp. And Mulligan wants to criminalize those who perform ultrasounds without a doctor's order.

PUHLEASE!! There's no surgery involved. Nobody gets hurt. And if the woman wants an ultrasound, she doesn't need a doctor's order to have one in the first place. An informed decision is critical. This is not garbage to be thrown away.

The people of Illinois need to wake up. The Illinois Senate need to kill this bill.
