Interesting story that's not getting attention at the national media level. A white man was discriminated by an organization called the "National Association of Black Social Workers" whose purpose is to help combat racisms and "address important social issues that effect the health and welfare of the Black community" but allows only blacks to attend their conferences and seminars. An obvious double standard there.
Brian Parnell who was discriminated because the organization would not let him in for professional training offered by the National Association of Black Social Workers is leading a lawsuit against the organization. Because they accepted federal monies for, obviously now, black federal employees to attend trainings, it would become the basis of his lawsuit and should fall under the juridiction of the federal government to help pursue this case. This would be the IRS but they seem to be dragging their feet on this issue. Regardless, their tax-exempt status under the “501(c)3” entity which is a government code for charitable groups. Federal rules do not allow tax-exempt status for an organization that practice racism. This is clearly a case of one.
Read more about this little known discrimination lawsuit of a little old white man against a powerfully big black organization of 37 years who say that racism is wrong...wrong....wrong. Sorry little white man, you can come to their trainings because you are white.
Go figure.
Hat tip: Dale.
UPDATE: Michelle talks about Bush bashing by a black charity. Not the same thing here but at least is it not almost on the same subject level of a reverse racist attitude coming from a large black organization?
