Schwarzenegger Says "No" to Deaf and Blind Death Row Inmate on Clemecy Hearing

Ok. I got your attention. Good. The guy wasn't born deaf and blind. Just late deafened and blind. Now, a death row inmate at 75 years old who is deaf, blind, uses a wheelchair and suffers from other medical conditions is a reason to get out from under an execution set for January 17, 2006? I don't think so.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said Wednesday he will not hold a clemency hearing for death row inmate Clarence Allen, who is scheduled to be exeucted by lethal injection January 17 for three 1980 killings.

Last week, Schwarzenegger said he would not hold any public clemency hearings for Allen, then followed that decision Wednesday with word there would be no private hearing either.

Why should Arnold hold public clemecy hearings for a death row inmate who killed three innocent people back in 1980? This would be the 4th refusal for clemecy hearings for a total of four death row prisoners who have sought clemency since he took office two years ago. If this death row prisoner is suffering so much why put it off any longer the execution? That's 25 years of money down the drain.
