Comparing Osama and a Black Christ

A New York artist painted a picture that some claim looks like Osama bin Laden in the depiction of Christ, upside down, at the National Black Fine Art Show in the Puck Building in New York.

But the writer had big problems with a painting by Harlem artist "Tafa". It depicts an upside down Christ-like figure with a face strongly resembling Osama Bin Laden. The email read in part, "This is outrageous. This is an attack against my religion. How can an artist go so low? Most people are outraged, most Christians."

After a little bit of my own artistic creativity, I put the painting rightside up and found a good mug shot of Osama just to compare the two side by side. Looking at them now, I don't think the two resembles anything like each other. Maybe Kayne? It may be offensive but it's just a picture. Not worth going Jihad over this. Remember thick skins now?
