John Edwards' Candidacy Death Knell Began Today

I'd say this is Edwards' major fas paux of the decade when he said this during a MTV/MySpace forum,

We cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating — pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They’re all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.

That's right, Edwards. Scare them straight about your hyperbole. Give them your vote of confidence on their own future which, ironically, took place at a MTV/MySpace which doesn't exactly inspire people about the future, while starring these young people into their eyes and bascially says "You have no future!"

I wonder what Barack Hussein Obama will say about that one? Perhaps Edwards haven't heard about how there are black Republicans who have the answer to Edwards' apocalyptic prediction? Or maybe Edwards haven't met people like "Jeremy" who want to lead as a Republican rather than follow?
