The mocking of dea(th)f...

One of the worst thing one can do is to air online in a vlog or blog the apparent glee or dispassionate display of somebody else's death who is related to a deaf person known in the deaf and hard of hearing community.  Either show a modicum of respect in your blog or vlog or don't talk about it at all.  By showing disrespect online makes that person a boorish and dispassionate soul. If it's indifference then keep it to yourself privately and away from the public view. By making it public ranks (almost) right up there on wishing the death of a deaf parent's child just because one doesn't like the deaf parent reeks of insanity.

I know, I created vlog last month at ASLitself for doing this. He removed his vlog and I removed mine.

Never, ever wish death upon enemies. Just shut up and say nothing or pay the respect to family.

Left this comment on this topic over at FB's Deaf/HH Blogs:

Well...I've been taking a break from FB and probably will continue to do so until I'm at where I need to be. But..I need to say something about this. This was nothing compared to what "they" did in contacting my employer. For some reason, my focus was elsewhere, thus I wasn't affected. However, I have noticed that it affected a lot of people who have common sense that there are certain things one does not do when someone dies. I agree. Definitely very immature and lacks compassion. I have learned so much about life and why we're here. lol I know, corny, eh? So, it's not my soul I need to worry about, but theirs they need to worry about. One other thing about bullies and their enablers I want to touch on. The same enablers seem to find mocking the dead unacceptable, YET, those same enablers edge these bullies when they go after someone. huh. hello? I have decided I want nothing to do with them enablers even though they did nothing to me, but the fact that they encourage these bullies to bully others is not acceptable to me. Those enablers knows who they are. Alright, getting back into the GROOVE of LIFE. I'll be back. ;)
