DYV...before and after

Totally surreal when it comes to the depth of absurdity.  Six days ago I posted about DYV's dishonesty blogging about a lightning strike saying a deaf man with a cochlear implant was struck but offered no sources or proof that it was the case. In fact, that video was already proven to be a fake.  A week later offered such a banal, dishonest response if not a totally paranoid one leaping into the fire and now into the frying pan.

Notice: This article has been no proven which is no information and none of sources due to the cochlear implant industry possibly cover up of this incidental situation to prevent avoid bankruptcy. perhaps, only a theory which could it be possible happen to everybody like this video.

The cochlear implant industry is in collusion to cover up on sources to the fake lightning video? What an utterly moronic claim. Again, the video has already been shown to be a fake. No need for a "theory."  If a deaf person with a cochlear implant was hit by a direct lightning strike he would most likely be dead or severely maimed for life. Whether the cochlear implant gets damaged isn't really worth writing about.  How about being honest for a change and admit that you, DYV, were just making things up out of thin air on a whim?

Before:

After:

Update: Good grief. Now, he/she is claiming in his/her blog piece was merely an opinion piece. How can it be an opinion piece when it's littered with so called "facts" stating unequivocally that the (fake) lightning victim is a cochlear implant user with no way of confirming it and no sources to support that claim?   Below you can his post-response to my blog response to his first blog piece about the (fake) lightning victim video. His reference to me as "Mickey Mouse" was my old user name during the VAX days at Gallaudet University.  Not afraid to show my face around here.

And lastly, it is in poor taste to list links under the "Surfer Deaf Websites" a link to Candy's blog as "Extreme Radical Gina Sutton" while all the other names linking to other sites are neutral.

UPDATE II. More on DYV involving counter hits. It's easy to see the difference between the visitor map (clickable) and see the hits total and the hits number displayed below the map. This is a similar incident with the DBC's own mess.

Hah!

I had not noticed that. Well, I never saw Deaf You Video as a reliable and credible site. It was obviously littered with untruths. People have complained that their comments were deleted when DYV didn't like it.

Extreme radical? lol That's so funny. When one expresses opinions such as I do, with the view that all approaches, language, etc be respected, it irritates some people.

I met a former deaf teacher who teaches at a mainstream school recently who said "I was famous!". I laughed at him, because I know he's bullshitting me. He then said he loves watching Ricky Taylor, aka, Ridor's video. I was like, eh, if you like personal lynching, I suppose. He then said Ridor was like Mike Royko. I laughed and said, no way. I used to read Mike Royko for years, there is no comparison at all. I even asked my brother, who agreed with me...no comparison.

Is it radical to ask that we respect all languages and forms of language? To respect all approaches when it comes to deaf and their education?

Is it radical to expect every deaf be forced to choose a certain approach?

You tell me!

:)

And then for them extremists who imposes one approach on deaf babies: sign language with English only, they think it's okay to be anonymous and attacking other people by using their names and calling them abusers and enablers...but when I blog, I don't get on a personal level for the purpose of lynching people. It's such a hypocrisy at its finest. We're talking blogs such as Karen Von Pills who was outted recently. Kind of surprising, I've seen her comments via mutal friends on FB, she seemed nice. A great writer who would have gone far if she hadn't been small minded. Oh well. *shrug*

KVP? She was outed recently? In what manner? Why is exposing anonymity so important to the point of threatening them? Why did they out her for? What reason?

Anyways, don't even know Mike Royko. Not always up to speed in the drama filled Deaf world. I like my quiet time.

Mike Royko isn't deaf. He was a great columnist for Sun Times in Chicago, and tended to be blunt but he doesn't dig up dirt on people. Usually got into local politics.

Umm, I'm not sure. From what I understand, KVP's best friend revealed who KVP is. In this case, no one threatened KVP, as far as I know...

Yes, I like my quiet time, as do many deaf folks I know. Most don't get into this drama.

Anony @12:34 PM,

Who? The comic character from Archie comics? What does he have to do with this blog piece?

Mike said...

Candy, her best friend outed her? Accidentally? If she is her best friend she wouldn't out her in the first place.

Candy said...

MM..

I don't know...

I doubt it was accidentally..

This best friend probably got too big for his britches...

Candy said...

Then again...

There is no such thing as "best friends" in deaf cultured world...

No such thing.

anony @ 12:13 PM,

Ah, a Canadian. Thank you for stopping by. Secondly, recognize DYV for making things up and not provide any sources on backing up a claim that the lightning victim (fake) was a cochlear implant user. Lastly, yes, people do look up to me. Many don't. I don't have a problem with that. But you do? Interesting.

Candy, you are right. There were 5 comments in dyv but now they are gone. Previously there were two comments. They got deleted. Then the 5 comments came on and now that is gone, too.
