Special Message from Mark Wood of ASL Films about Michael Hubbs
Get the word out about Michael Hubbs on helping him make the U.S. Olympic team for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Soichi, Russia. Mark Wood has some choice words for people who would rather wait until hearing people recognize Michael Hubbs his achievement before they support him. Why on Earth wait until then? That does not make any sense at all. Michael Hubbs need our financial support....NOW!
Donation to help Michael Hubbs began a few days ago with 58 days left to go to raise $60,000 to help pay for his training and travel expenses with the goal to make the U.S. Olympic team this December's Olympic tryout. So far the amount donated has surpassed $4,200. Let's shoot for a goal of more than $60,000. Let's go for the $100,000 magic mark!

I feel bad about the lack of fundraising for Michael Hubbs. I agreed with Mark Wood concern lack of support from the deaf community.
I really don't understand why Dawn Schriver got over $9,000 just two weeks with her nonsense "sort of scam" fundraising. What's wrong with the picture?
Well, Michael Hubbs is off to a good start. In two days people have donated almost $5000. That's in two days. If donation continues at that rate then in 60 days Michael Hubbs could see a donation of $150,000. Remember, the donation started two days ago (Thursday). Just help get the word out to your friends and families about helping out Michael Hubbs. He has the capability to be an Olympic caliber athlete in the long track speed skating and become the first deaf Olympic speed skater in history. That would be absolutely cool if that happens.
tough luck for Michael Hubbs
Tough luck?? Almost raised $6,000 in 3 1/2 days so far with 57 days to go. $60,000 in 60 days means $1,000 a day in donation to make the goal. He's nearly at $2,000/day so far. Pretty good if you ask me.
Perhaps he could sell his Jaguar, buy a cheaper car, and use some of that money to pay for training.
